The process begins with a comprehensive discussion of the client’s needs and desires for their property. An extensive survey is then conducted of the property to determine how the new landscape will integrate with the architecture, trees, grades, and surrounding environment. A preliminary design is then created so that the client has an opportunity to see how the new landscape lays out on their property, and a chance to make any changes based on what they see. At this time specific decisions are made for construction and plant materials to be identified on the final landscape plan. Once the final plan is complete, it is used to create a budget and schedule for the landscape construction.
