After the right landscape design plan has been created, the next step is to build your custom landscape. Nassau Suffolk Landscaping ensures a successful construction process by utilizing the design plan to specifically determine a budget and schedule.

Phase one is to remove or relocate any or all existing features required for the new construction. Proper grading and drainage is then done prior to or in conjunction with the hardscape construction elements such as pools, masonry, wood decks or driveways. Grading and drainage are priorities in any new landscape and learned only through experience. Nassau Suffolk Landscaping utilizes its many years of experience to determine the need for retaining walls, drains, dry wells and the addition or removal of soil to produce a useable and long lasting landscape.

The next phase of construction is the hardscape such as pools, masonry and wood decks. Nassau Suffolk Landscaping subcontracts and manages highly qualified professionals to construct the very different hardscapes. We strongly believe in using the professionals of these individual fields to produce the highest quality landscapes. Nassau Suffolk Landscaping is proud to say that we have been working with all of our sub-contractors with great success for many years.

Upon completion of your hardscape the remaining property is fine graded in preparation for planting. Large trees and shrubs are then installed to determine the layout of planting beds and lawn. Then comes the installation of a new or repair of an existing irrigation system. At this time any additional landscape elements such as fencing, lighting or other garden structures are installed prior to the installation of smaller plantings such as perennials, groundcovers and lawn. The completion of any landscape is in the details such as furniture, pottery or annual flowers that Nassau Suffolk Landscaping can assist with so that the only thing left for the homeowners to do is enjoy.
