Since 1957 our company has created total landscape
environments throughout Long Island and, today, we
continue to do this with a tradition of quality,
innovation and reliability. On each project our goal is
to compliment the lifestyle of the residents, the
architectural style of the home, and the natural beauty
of the land. We develop a distinctive look that results
from the beautiful integration of gardens and lawns,
patios and decks, driveways and walkways, pools and
spas and more. All work is accomplished by cordial
professionals who are committed to completing projects
on schedule and on budget.
Nassau Suffolk Landscaping specializes in high quality,
detail oriented landscape projects. Our company serves
as both the landscape design and landscape construction
firm. As contractors we are able to build complete
landscapes of any type by managing highly qualified
sub-contractors to handle certain aspects of the
construction (i.e. masonry and irrigation). We believe
that utilizing the experts of these different forms of
construction leads to a better quality landscape
project. Nassau Suffolk Landscaping is licensed and
insured, guarantees all of its work, and has been doing
so for nearly fifty years throughout Long Island.
Nassau Suffolk Landscaping values the relationship that
is created with each client throughout the process of
every project. We attribute our long-lasting success to
these relationships and to the recommendations for new
clients that come from them. Even upon completion of
the landscape project Nassau Suffolk Landscaping
continues to maintain this relationship with the
client. As the client’s needs and desires evolve Nassau

Our History
Nassau Suffolk Landscaping began operations in 1957
under the control of John J. Cannarelli. Like many new
enterprises, the firm began with a few employees and a
limited number of clients. Over the years it has grown
to become the highly successful company that it is
today. In 1979, the company was passed to Mr.
Cannarelli’s son, John Cannarelli Jr., who continues to
run the firm today. For nearly fifty years Nassau
Suffolk Landscaping has created beautiful private and
public landscapes. In that time Nassau Suffolk
Landscaping’s portfolio of work has earned many honors
including awards from the Long Island Nurserymen’s
Association and the Associated Landscape Contractors of
America, as well as Newsday Awards of Excellence.
